Manager for Competence Centre, China
As a part of the company’s Control Systems organization, the Competence Centre is responsible for specification and design of electrical panels for installation in the company turbines in China.
We are seeking a competent manager for the company Control Systems A/S, Competence Centre China, which has focus on product design in relation to production processes and component sourcing for control systems/panels.
About the Competence Centre
We are a professional team in a busy working environment. We provide technical support for Vestas Controls’ production units. Our job is to validate and maintain ERP master data, participate in development projects, perform technical support to sourcing and as a new aspect we perform construction work in Pro-E.
We prepare, handle and implement improvement proposals and alteration proposals in close collaboration with R&D and the production.
Responsibilities and tasks
•Direct people management
•Establish and maintain resource plans and provide clear overviews for prioritization
•Communicate and facilitate change in a dynamic company
•Consolidate and communicate progress within the management group
•Act as ambassador to support team work in a multicultural environment
Qualifications and work experience
•You have a M.Sc. in Electrical or Automation Engineering
•A minimum of 3+ years of management experience and business administration
•You have documented experience within the areas of design and production of controller cabinets.
•You have worked with and production engineering and have insights in supply chain and supplier quality management.
•You are very conscious about quality and thorough in your work and you find it exciting to work with other people in a project organisation
•You are able to listen and aware that the people you manage might be brighter than you within their field of expertise
•You are independent, open minded, structured, and positive
•English at negotiating level is mandatory
•International experience and strong intercultural understanding.
•Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
•Willing to travel
